The Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people opposed any decisions regarding Crimea that are made without Ukraine's participation. The organization emphasized that any secret agreements concerning the peninsula will be regarded as violations of the rights of the indigenous population.In the Mejlis's statement, it is indicated that the future of Crimea should only be resolved within the framework of returning Ukraine's territorial integrity, and any decision made without the country's consent is illegal. Representatives of the organization called on participants of international negotiations to stop the actions of the aggressor state and force Russia to comply with international law.The Mejlis emphasized that secret decisions regarding Crimea without Ukraine's consent violate the rights of the indigenous people. Recently, there has also been reported destruction of radar in Crimea and problems with water supply on the peninsula.
