Zelensky considers a position for Kuleba: the ex-minister may be appointed to intelligence.
Possible involvement of Dmytro Kuleba in state reforms
According to ТСН: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is considering the possibility of involving former Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba in new formats of work within the government. This particularly concerns the reform of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (SZR).
According to sources, the latest meeting between the president and Kuleba is linked to the search for new approaches to acquiring and analyzing international information. This is necessary to provide the head of state with more options for decision-making.
“This is yet another channel of information about what our partners are saying, how they generally assess the situation. To provide the president with more alternatives for decision-making.”
The source also noted that Zelensky has long been pondering a new role for Kuleba in state governance. The final decision will depend on the vision and personal ambitions of the ex-minister.
Several options are being considered: it could be a special format of work in the status of advisor or representative of the president (formal or informal), as well as the possible leadership of one of the state institutions, particularly the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
It was previously reported that the president met with Kuleba to discuss the political and informational situation in the country.
This initiative may indicate Zelensky's desire to find new approaches to governance during a difficult time. The involvement of the experienced diplomat Kuleba could be an important step in reforming foreign intelligence and improving Ukraine's international communications.
