Prices for cucumbers in Ukraine have indeed jumped by 16%, to UAH 30-50 per kilogram. Despite this, the demand for this vegetable remains steady. This is reported based on materials from EastFruit.
What is happening with cucumber prices
According to data, the supply of cucumbers in the market is decreasing due to the negative effects of the summer season, which has led to cucumber diseases. This has resulted in a gradual increase in vegetable prices.
'Currently, the supply of vegetables in the domestic market remains limited. This allows sellers to raise prices for their products,' analysts noted.
Soon, cucumbers from greenhouses will appear on the market, which may change the situation with prices for this product.
