According to ТСН: The National Bank of Ukraine announced the official exchange rates for Friday, December 19. The exchange rate of the US dollar remained at 42.33 hryvnias, while the euro's value decreased by 3 kopecks. Meanwhile, the exchange rate of the zloty increased by 1 kopeck.

Dollar exchange rate

  • 1 US dollar — 42.33 (±0 kopecks)

Euro exchange rate

  • 1 euro — 49.59 (-3 kopecks)

Zloty exchange rate

  • 1 Polish zloty — 11.79 (+1 kopeck)

It was previously reported that between December 15 and 21, the dollar's exchange rate on the interbank market would fluctuate between 42.1-42.6 UAH (buying-selling), and the euro rate would fluctuate between 48.0-49.75 UAH (buying-selling).

In the cash market, the rate would range from 42.3 to 42.8 UAH for the dollar and from 48 to 49.75 UAH for the euro.

Banker Taras Lesovyy believes that the difference between buying and selling rates in the interbank market may reach 0.15 UAH for the dollar and 0.20 UAH for the euro. Currency exchange offices expect this difference to be 0.3-0.5 UAH for the dollar and 0.5-0.7 UAH for the euro.

Thus, the official exchange rates remain stable, however, the market demonstrates certain fluctuations.
