NBU published the official exchange rate for December 25: the dollar, euro, and zloty have changed.
According to ТСН: The National Bank of Ukraine has announced the new official exchange rate. The value of the US dollar has increased by 5 kopecks and now stands at 42.15 hryvnias. The exchange rates of the euro and the Polish zloty have also changed, increasing by 5 and 6 kopecks respectively.
Dollar exchange rate
1 US dollar — 42.15 (+5 kopecks)
Euro exchange rate
1 euro — 49.68 (+5 kopecks)
Zloty exchange rate
1 Polish zloty — 11.79 (+6 kopecks)
It should be noted that just recently, the dollar and euro stopped appreciating ahead of the New Year. One of the important factors influencing the exchange rate of currencies in Ukraine was the decision of the EU Council to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in the form of an interest-free loan of 90 billion euros. This has led to the halt of the process of strengthening the hryvnia against the dollar and euro in the cash market.
Changes in exchange rates can have a significant impact on the economic situation in the country, especially in the context of financial assistance from international partners. The support of the European Union provides Ukraine not only with resources but also with stability in the face of challenges faced by the economy.
