NBU has established a new exchange rate: the dollar increased to 42.21 hryvnias.
According to ТСН: The National Bank of Ukraine has established a new official exchange rate for Tuesday. The dollar has risen by 15 kopecks, the euro has increased in value by 10 kopecks, while the Polish zloty has remained at the same level.

1 euro — 49.65 (+10 kopecks)

1 Polish zloty — 11.74 (0 kopecks)
Moreover, starting from January 1, 2026, pensions in Ukraine will be increased. Some pensioners may receive up to 1,500 hryvnias more. The largest increase will be felt by the category of individuals with disabilities due to war.
The situation in the foreign exchange market will remain under the control of the NBU, and such fluctuations in exchange rates may indicate changes in the country's economic situation. At the same time, the increase in pensions is crucial for social stability, especially for vulnerable segments of the population that need support in conditions of economic uncertainty.
