Discussing Nuno Espírito Santo's appointment at West Ham, Ferguson recalled how he was getting his UEFA B license alongside the Portuguese coach in Scotland. He emphasized his attention to detail:
“He was a fantastic coach. He was so meticulous about details. When you did your training drills, he would move you around.”
“And if you were a center-back and got into position, he would say: 'You stand there. You stand there, son.'”
Ferguson demonstrated this by moving Jones around the studio, eliciting a heartwarming reaction from the host, who couldn’t help but smile and laugh.
“It’s a lifelong ambition — to be thrown in the air by Duncan Ferguson!”
