Legendary actor of the Frank Theater Oleksiy Bohdanovych celebrates his birthday.


Today, March 23, the People's Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, and Ukrainian theater and film actor Oleksiy Bohdanovych turns 62 years old. This was reported by Glavkom.
The Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater congratulated Bohdanovych on his birthday on its Facebook page.
Last year, Bohdanovych celebrated his birthday on the stage of the Frank Theater, where he played the role of Count Almaviva in the production 'The Marriage of Figaro'.
Before his 62nd birthday, the actor gave a large interview to Glavkom, in which he spoke about his experiences in the theater and commented on the latest theatrical scandals: linguistic and sexual.
Biography of Oleksiy Bohdanovych
Oleksiy Bohdanovych was born on March 23, 1963, in the village of Bereza, Glukhovsky district of Sumy region. His father was an economist, and his mother worked as a teacher.
After finishing high school, Bohdanovych entered the Kyiv Institute of Theatre Arts named after Ivan Karpenko-Kary, where he studied in Leonid Oliinyk’s course.
Since 1984, Bohdanovych began acting in the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater and in films. He also teaches at the Karpenko-Kary Theatre University and is a member of the Committee for the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine.

Oleksiy Bohdanovych is a prominent Ukrainian actor who has always embodied the noble spirit of his people in performances. Bohdanovych entered the theater institute 'just for fun', but soon became a famous actor. In his early thirties, he was awarded the Shevchenko Prize. The performances he participates in always draw full houses at the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater.
It’s worth noting that Bohdanovych called 'The Witch of Konotop', staged by Ivan Uryvskyi, 'the hen that lays golden eggs for the theater'. He also noted that the commercial success of the performance is essential, as the theater spends a lot of money.
Earlier, Bohdanovych admitted that his wife advises him to undergo rejuvenating procedures, but he currently feels no panic.
