Odesa region again leads the harvest: 3 million tons of grain harvested during the war

Farmers in the Odesa region continue to break records during this year's harvest. Despite the difficult situation due to the war and constant shelling, they have already harvested over 3 million tons of grain. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Administration, Oleg Kiper.

Harvest in Odesa

During the 2025 harvest, farmers in the Odesa region collected 3,089.1 thousand tons of early grains and legumes. To achieve such an impressive result, farmers had to process 1,070.4 thousand hectares of land in the region.

'We are winning again! This is the incredible work, strength, and dedication of our people. We are proud of our fertile land and everyone who works on it! Odesa is a leader in Ukraine: 3,089.1 thousand tons harvested from 1,070.4 thousand hectares! Special thanks to each farmer for their tireless work!'

For comparison: as of July 25, 1.5 million tons were harvested in the Kirovohrad region, while almost 1.4 million tons of grain were harvested in Mykolaiv. It should be noted that due to drought and pests, the Odesa region may be left without sunflower and corn. It was also reported that frosts damaged a large part of the peach harvest in the region.

Farmers in the Odesa region continue to show impressive results during this year's harvest, gathering remarkable volumes of grain crops. This reflects the great work ethic and high professionalism of Ukrainian agrarians who work for the benefit of the country's agricultural development.
