"With state support and proper organization of the technological process, the enterprise could produce 2.4 thousand tons of uranium concentrate per year and provide nuclear fuel for all 15 nuclear power units in Ukraine," said he.
Ukraine is actively mining uranium at three mines in the Kirovohrad region to provide the necessary resources for its energy sector. Uranium production is currently carried out at four deposits, allowing the state to influence the global uranium ore market and supply the necessary fuel to nuclear power plants in the country.
