The large-scale military operation of Russia in eastern Ukraine, which began in May, has faced difficulties in achieving strategic victories. Even after intense attacks on all fronts, the Russian forces have not yet managed to achieve decisive successes, which may indicate a gradual exhaustion of their offensive potential.
In the Sumy region, the advance of Russian troops has been halted, particularly the capture of the settlement of Yunakivka, which would have hindered their further movement towards the regional center – Sumy.
