Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets announced a conference dedicated to the release of all prisoners and deported persons.
"I participated in a video meeting with Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, where we agreed on the conference date and discussed a number of issues, the list of countries, the agenda, and expected outcomes," the ombudsman reported.
According to Lubinets, the conference is scheduled for October 30-31 and will be held in Canada.
"I note that Ukraine is grateful to Canada and Norway, who will be co-organizers of the conference and are co-chairs of the working group on the implementation of the fourth point of the Peace Formula. We must release all civilians, prisoners of war, and children held in illegal detention in the Russian Federation as soon as possible," the ombudsman emphasized.
