The Russians have focused their summer campaign on two key areas - OSUV 'Khortytsia'.
Intense fighting continues in the area of responsibility of the military group 'Khortytsia' during the enemy's summer campaign. The main crowds of enemy forces are concentrated on the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, where their goal is to break through to the administrative border of the two regions, said the spokesperson for 'Khortytsia', Major Viktor Trehubov.
'These are the hottest points of confrontation at the moment. There is also combat activity in other areas, but it is here that the enemy is making the main push. For example, the situation has also escalated in the South Slobozhansky direction near Vovchansk,' the military emphasized.
According to him, active fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, which have become characteristic of this summer campaign. Trehubov also explained the tactical features of combat: 'Since light equipment has replaced heavy due to the use of FPV drones, the strategy has virtually remained unchanged. Where possible, light vehicles operate. Where stealth is needed, infantry is used. This is the main feature of this campaign. Heavy equipment and artillery are used less.'
