According to The Sun: The beloved McVitie’s Digestives biscuits in white chocolate are back on store shelves just in time for Christmas!

This popular treat has returned to one of the major supermarkets.

McVitie's

McVitie’s, which recently unveiled new packaging, has re-launched the legendary Digestives in white chocolate.

These biscuits were taken off the market 20 years ago, last seen on shelves in 2005.

They feature the classic Digestives biscuit base, covered in a layer of white chocolate.

Not too long ago, they could be found in Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Tesco, Asda, and Morrisons, but not in one of the most widely available supermarkets in the country.

Despite this, Lidl announced the return of the sought-after biscuits in its promotional leaflet.

The price for a pack of 15 biscuits is £2.25, but Lidl Plus members can save 50 pence via the app.

The Digestives in white chocolate hit the shelves on September 18.

However, sweet lovers should hurry, as it is unclear whether these biscuits will become a permanent item.

They are listed in Lidl's leaflet, showcasing promotional offers until September 24.

But don’t worry – these biscuits will still be available in other supermarkets.

Aslı Özen Turhan, Chief Marketing Officer of Pladis UK&I, which owns McVitie's, commented on the product's return.

“Our customers have been asking about the Digestives in white chocolate for a while, and we are thrilled to finally bring them back to shelves,” said a representative.
“Knowing how many people love white chocolate and are eager for new sweets, we couldn't wait to make this highly anticipated addition to the Digestives family.”

So, if you are buying these biscuits for yourself or planning to have them for a Christmas gathering, it's best to do so while you have the chance.

They are not the only sweets set to appear this festive season.

What’s New in Sweets

A Cadbury chocolate bar from the 90s is back on shelves for just 87 pence after decades of absence.

Also revealed before Christmas is a new flavor of Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

Celebrations have made substantial changes to their packaging ahead of the holidays.

Additionally, shoppers at B&M have spotted two new flavors of festive chocolate favorites being sold for £1.

Therefore, sweet lovers can expect a wide range of new products in stores this holiday season. The return of beloved biscuits like Digestives in white chocolate signals that manufacturers are eager to meet consumer demands by adding enticing offerings to their range. This festive season is certainly set to be rich in delicious innovations.
