The customs uncovered violations amounting to 6.8 billion UAH: which goods were most often confiscated.
From January to July 2025, Ukrainian customs authorities recorded 5,682 cases of customs rule violations. The total amount of identified violations reached 6.8 billion UAH.
According to the information from , in 2,051 cases, items of violations were temporarily seized with a total value of nearly 587 million UAH. Industrial goods constituted the largest part of this amount — worth 394 million UAH. Additionally, vehicles valued at over 133 million, food products worth 44 million, and currency worth 15 million UAH were seized.
In 1,097 cases, customs imposed administrative fines totaling 42.6 million UAH. Of this amount, 35.5 million has already been collected to the State Budget.
Moreover, 3,206 cases with a total value of over 6.1 billion UAH were submitted to the courts for consideration. As a result of court proceedings, including those from previous periods, decisions were made on the confiscation of goods and imposition of fines totaling 3.3 billion UAH.
In the six months, more than 5,000 customs rule violations amounting to nearly 7 billion UAH were identified and penalized. This indicates thorough control by customs and rapid response to violations in this area.
