Four bodies found in the Seine: a suspect arrested in Paris.
According to The Sun: A suspect has been arrested in connection with the four bodies found in the Seine in Paris. Following the discovery of the four bodies in the Seine River last week, a suspect was apprehended. After a train passenger noticed a corpse in the water, police immediately arrived at the scene and found three more bodies.
“Today a man suspected of killing several people was arrested at the headquarters of the Paris criminal police,” the Créteil prosecutor told Le Monde in an interview.
The bodies were discovered in Paris on August 13 in the municipal district of Choisy-le-Roi. One of the victims died from asphyxiation, while another suffered "violent injuries," as stated by the local prosecutor on Saturday. It is currently unclear how many of the four victims the accused of murder is connected to.
The detained 24-year-old Algerian is accused of committing a series of murders. He was taken into custody in the morning. Prosecutors noted that there is currently no evidence linking the victims. They likely ended up in the water at different locations upstream and ended up at the foot of the Choisy bridge.
The incident in Paris with the four corpses found in the Seine led to the arrest of a suspect in the murder of several people. The police continue the investigation to uncover all the circumstances of this tragedy. It has been established that the arrested individual has been charged with committing a series of murders, but experts are still determining whether the victims are connected.
