Manchester United Without Number One: What's the Problem with Amorim and Goalkeepers.
According to The Sun: One significant problem for Manchester United last season was the lack of a reliable striker, while other Premier League clubs had better players in that position. The situation has changed, and now almost all teams in the league can boast improved goalkeepers.

Defensive Problems for United
Unlike Southampton, other Premier League teams have more experienced strikers than Rasmus Hojlund. Jamie Vardy, despite losing form, has scored more than twice the number of league goals than Hojlund, who has only four.
Ruben Amorim noted that there is no defined first-choice goalkeeper in his team, as Altay Bayındır shows inconsistency.
Bayındır looks confident before matches, but it's a whole different story on the pitch. His uncertain actions against Chelsea significantly worried United fans when the team barely secured a win.
Senne Lampaens, who joined from Royal Antwerp on deadline day for £18.2 million, has yet to play a match for the Belgium national team and didn't make the squad earlier this month.
Antwerp was previously a feeder club for United, but the club has not signed any players from the Belgian club.
Expectations from Lampaens
Lampaens recorded one of the highest save percentages in European leagues last season, making more saves than any other goalkeeper in the top European leagues.
However, none of United's new goalkeepers appear as stable as the goalkeepers of other teams in the league.
Manchester United can no longer rely on Bayındır, as he has conceded 28 goals in 16 matches, achieving only eight victories, five of which were in the League Cup and Europa League.

In Manchester, City has two first-choice goalkeepers, while United has to rely on three players who have not established themselves in that position. It's possible the team will go the entire season without a clear definition of a first-choice goalkeeper in whom fans could have faith.
Even a goalkeeper who played for United and now plays for another team may be more reliable compared to the current goalkeepers of the club.
Among all teams in the league, few have less effective goalkeepers than United today.
The goalkeeper situation at United looks bleak, as the results of Bayındır clearly leave much to be desired.
The history of United suggests that it would be unfair not to give a chance to a young goalkeeper. Ole Gunnar Solskjær pointed out plans to make Henderson the first-choice goalkeeper again in 2021, after which the club decided to sell him for £15 million.
Henderson was the best player in the FA Cup final in May and was instrumental in the second victory at Wembley against Liverpool in the Super Cup.
Henderson stated that he would not return to United. However, if they approach him again with a salary increase offer, one could assume he might change his mind.
At this moment, Crystal Palace looks more decisive on both flanks than United.
Thus, United faces serious challenges in maintaining competitiveness against the backdrop of other clubs' developments in the league. The experienced goalkeepers of other teams create pressure for the Manchester club, highlighting the importance of positive changes within the team.
