Manchester United seeks a new goalkeeper: who will be the first choice.
Manchester United prepares significant changes in the goalkeeper lineup
According to The Sun: Manchester United plans to seriously update its goalkeeper line in the upcoming season.
The head coach Ruben Amorim recently noted that the team lacks a clear first-choice goalkeeper after signing Senne Lammens for £18.2 million on transfer deadline day.

Altay Bayındır played all the Premier League matches, however, his performances raised concerns, especially after mistakes during matches against Arsenal and Burnley.
Andre Onana, who played for the club, was sent on loan to Trabzonspor for a season and likely will not return to the starting position in United.
United is also considering signing AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, whose contract ends next year. The club has already made contact with his representatives.
This summer, United attempted to acquire Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, whose contract runs until 2029.
Martinez, 33, expressed a desire to move to United but remained on the bench during Villa's defeat to Crystal Palace.
Bayındır joined United from Fenerbahçe for £4.3 million two years ago as a backup to Onana, who also joined the club that summer.
Third goalkeeper Tom Heaton will celebrate his 40th birthday in April and may decide to retire at the end of the season.
Heaton has not played since February 2023 and has only appeared in three matches since returning to United in the summer of 2021.

Additionally, United plans to invest significantly in a new central midfielder. Brighton is considering signing Carlos Baleba as a potential reinforcement.
During the last transfer window, United failed to find a midfielder due to the inability to release Casemiro, although the 33-year-old player plans to leave the club at the end of his contract next year.

Releasing the Brazilian from the payroll costs will allow United to fund serious transfers to strengthen the squad.
Sources within United claim that a new midfielder was not a priority during the summer window due to the versatility of Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Bruno Fernandes, and Mason Mount.
However, Casemiro, Mainoo, and Ugarte are the only natural midfielders, while the club captain Fernandes is nearing the end of his contractual obligations, and Mount has been suffering from injuries for the last two years.
Ugarte has been on the bench only once in five Premier League matches this season, while Mainoo is yet to start in the league.
Baleba, 21, was substituted at halftime on Saturday when Brighton, leading by two goals, drew 2-2 with Tottenham.
The Cameroonian player has a contract until 2028, with an option to extend for another year.

Gianluigi Donnarumma was also available in the summer, but United showed no particular interest, and he is now playing for Manchester City.
Thus, Manchester United is preparing for major changes in its squad to not only strengthen the goalkeeper position but also focus on reinforcing the midfield. Given the lack of consistency in recent matches, club management understands the importance of responding quickly to the situation and selecting quality new players in the market. These steps may prove crucial for improving the team's results in the upcoming seasons.
