Manchester United raises ticket prices again: this time for the academy match.
According to The Sun: The club 'Manchester United' has announced an increase in ticket prices for the academy match, which will take place at Old Trafford.
This decision is a result of a large-scale fan protest against the price increase for tickets to first-team matches introduced by Sir Jim Ratcliffe after acquiring a minority stake last February.

While previous price increases have caused outrage, this time fan reactions have been mixed.

However, another noted: “There’s nothing wrong with this. It’s just a few pounds.”

The increase in ticket prices for academy matches confirms fans' concerns about the club's financial decisions. Many believe that efforts should be made to maintain accessibility and engage young fans, especially since these matches take place in a stadium where fans can experience watching future stars of the team uniquely.
It is likely that these changes will spark further discussions among the fan community and may impact match attendance in the future if the club cannot find a balance between finances and fan engagement.
