Rashford successfully returned to England, scoring twice and helping Barcelona achieve victory in the Champions League at Newcastle Stadium.
The forward's performance at St. James' Park confirmed that he has regained his form after a difficult period at Manchester United under Amorim's management.
Rashford was loaned to Aston Villa after the Portuguese coach's decisions last season. Despite the struggles of the 'Red Devils', Amorim did not change his mind about the player.
After that, Rashford got the opportunity to play at Barcelona, which has an option to buy him for 26 million pounds at the end of the season.
After a not entirely successful start in Spain, he showed his true level on Tyneside and clearly communicated his intentions to his new team.
“I want to stay here as long as possible. We will see if I can make it.”
“I just have to focus on my work and help the team in any way I can. It was a very good day, but we need to repeat this this weekend.”
Coach Flick praised Rashford for his performance after the match against Newcastle, while the footballer expressed gratitude for working with a coach who believes in him.
“I feel Flick's confidence. I knew he was an excellent coach, but working with him is a pleasure.”
Rashford noted that adapting to the new city and culture has been challenging; however, he feels more comfortable and confident in his game.

Rashford hopes to improve his game with each match.
Flick was also pleased with the support from his former Manchester United teammates during this new phase for him. Jadon Sancho shared a video of Rashford scoring a goal, evoking many positive emotions, while Bruno Fernandes posted a photo of Rashford's second goal on his Instagram page, which caused great enthusiasm among his followers.
Rashford has become a key figure for Barcelona, and his prospects for the future look promising. As he himself notes, continuing to collaborate with the club remains a priority, and the support of his teammates continues to be an important factor for his development.
