According to UATV: On March 14, 2023, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined attack targeting critical infrastructure across Ukraine, employing both cruise and ballistic missiles alongside attack drones. The Kyiv region bore the brunt of this offensive.
According to Ukraine's radar troops, a total of 498 aerial threats were detected. The assault consisted of:
- 2 Zircon missiles, fired from Crimea;
- 13 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, launched from Russia's Bryansk region;
- 25 Kalibr cruise missiles, originating from the Black Sea and Caspian Sea areas;
- 24 Kh-101 cruise missiles, launched from Russia's Vologda region;
- 4 Kh-59/69 guided missiles, coming from Russia's Kursk region and areas held by separatist forces in Donetsk;
- The bulk of the attack consisted of 430 attack drones, operating from multiple directions.
Ukrainian air defense forces managed to neutralize 460 targets, including 58 missiles and 402 drones. Six missiles and 28 drones hit their marks across 11 locations, while debris from intercepted drones fell at seven sites, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
