Four Dead, Dozens Injured in Russia's Latest Massive Wave of Attacks Across Ukraine.
Fresh Shelling Across Ukrainian Regions
According to UATV: Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched numerous strikes across Ukraine, hitting the Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, and Kharkiv regions, resulting in casualties and destruction. In and around the city of Zaporizhzhia, four people were killed and 28 others wounded. Across the wider Zaporizhzhia region, 45 settlements came under fire from a total of 973 strikes, causing extensive damage to property and infrastructure.
Authorities received 249 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and critical facilities. In the Kirovohrad region, an infrastructure site in the city of Kropyvnytskyi was targeted, though no deaths or injuries were reported. In Kharkiv, a strike ignited a fire at a warehouse, but again there were no casualties.
Civilian Toll Mounts
In the Kharkiv region, however, the situation turned deadly. A 54-year-old woman was killed during an attack on the Zmiiv community, and seven other people sustained injuries. These events highlight the ongoing aggression by Russian troops, which continues to inflict severe harm on Ukrainian civilians and the country's infrastructure.
This escalation is part of a conflict that has now persisted for several years, with devastating consequences for peaceful populations and regional development. Despite the relentless military pressure, Ukraine is working to restore damaged infrastructure and provide aid to those affected.
The situation in the targeted regions remains tense, demanding continued attention from the international community and humanitarian organizations.
