Massive Missile Attack Hits Kyiv

According to UATV: On July 19, 2023, Russia launched a large-scale missile assault on Kyiv, firing roughly 40 ballistic missiles. The attack left one person dead and 16 others injured. Several districts of the capital were hit, including:

• Dniprovskyi
• Desnianskyi
• Sviatoshynskyi

Around 600 rescue workers are on the scene, working to clear debris and manage the aftermath. Residential buildings, cars, infrastructure sites, and the entrance hall of the Lukianivska metro station all sustained damage.

Pavlo Petrov, a rescuer, said: 'Today, a lot of missiles targeted the capital. There was a strike near a multi-story residential building and a five-story building. Four people were rescued from one of the buildings.'

Witness Svitlana described the scene: 'The apartment is completely destroyed. There is nothing left inside.'
