Zelensky Supports Trump's Plan: Ukraine Ready for Compromises for Peace.
According to ТСН: Ukraine expressed support for Donald Trump's proposal for a ceasefire and confirmed its readiness for compromises in a special plan consisting of 20 points. However, lasting peace is only possible if the US and Europe unite in supporting Kyiv.
This information was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, responding to journalists' questions about the possibilities of ending the war.
Priority - Ending the War and the '20-Point Plan'
The head of state emphasized that peace is the main priority for Ukraine, and the country is already seeking significant concessions, documented in working papers.
'Ukraine supported President Trump's proposal for a ceasefire. Ukraine has made many different compromises, and this is reflected in our agreements, in the working agreements, in our 20-point plan. Ukraine is willing to do everything that can stop this war,' Zelensky noted.
Ultimatum to the Aggressor and the Role of the West
The President stressed that if Russia intends to continue the war, it can only be stopped through a consolidated position of the international community. Support for the aggressor from the West will only prolong the conflict.
Formula of Strength: Ukraine needs air defense systems, weapons, and financial support for a strong position in negotiations.
Two Scenarios: Option A - a quick end to the war by stopping Russia. Option B - a continuation of the war, which will pose a threat to the entire world.
Threat to Others: Zelensky warned that Russia will not stop at Ukraine, despite any agreements or 'eloquent messages' from the Kremlin.
'If the whole world, Europe and America, are on our side, we will all stop Putin together. If anyone - the USA or Europe - sides with Russia, it means the war will continue. There are no more options here,' the President concluded.
Preparation for Meeting with Trump
This statement was made ahead of the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in Florida. It is known that the Ukrainian side has prepared an updated proposal plan aimed at increasing the new US administration's interest in supporting Europe's security and attracting investments.
Recall that Zelensky will meet with Trump. The main topics will be security guarantees and increasing pressure on the Kremlin if it refuses to implement a constructive plan to end the war.
Earlier, Zelensky also reported on a conversation with representatives of the US president, during which they discussed 'some essential details of the job'. Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation who were in negotiations in Miami participated in the discussions.
Zelensky's meeting with Trump could be an important step towards activating international support for Ukraine. It demonstrates Ukraine's willingness to seek compromises for peace, but the security of the country will remain a key topic in negotiations.
