Trump confirmed contacts with Russia and Ukraine regarding the war in the East
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that his administration is negotiating with Russia and the leadership of Ukraine to end the war in Eastern Ukraine, which was initiated by the Kremlin.
He made this statement during a press conference in Washington with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
'We have very good negotiations, very constructive negotiations regarding Ukraine. And we are communicating with the Russians, we are talking to the Ukrainian leadership,' Trump said.
The President confirmed his previous statements that if he were in charge of the country, there would be no casualties during the war in Eastern Ukraine. He also noted that he receives weekly reports on casualties from both sides of the conflict, and these numbers are shocking.
