The owner of the establishment admitted that since its opening, they have faced many difficulties:
"Ensuring the evening restaurant's operation over the last six years has been a tremendous challenge."
According to him, rising prices for products, rent, and salaries have placed a significant burden on the business. The instability of service during the early days of the week hindered the achievement of the necessary stability for the long-term functioning of the establishment.
"We worked hard on adaptation, but despite our team's efforts, maintaining balance has become increasingly difficult."
At the same time, the restaurant received numerous positive reviews for creating a space where people could enjoy delicious food.
Conclusion of operations
The restaurant announced on its Instagram:
"After much deliberation, we made the very difficult decision to close our pasta restaurant at Pophams London Fields."
They plan to operate until October 30, opening their doors from Wednesday to Saturday, inviting everyone to visit the establishment one last time.
"We would love for as many people as possible to come and dine with us to end our journey on a positive note!"
The restaurant at London Fields offers dishes made from seasonal British and Italian ingredients, each inspired by traditional Italian flavors and cooking methods.
