Russia Deploys MiG-31K Fighter Jet, Triggering Widespread Missile Alert Across Ukraine.
Nationwide Air Raid Sounded Over Imminent Missile Threat
According to TSN.ua: Ukraine issued a sweeping air raid alert on March 30 after a Russian MiG-31K fighter jet took off. The launch signals a potential strike using Kh-47M2 'Kinzhal' aeroballistic missiles. Ukraine’s Air Force detected a high-speed aerial target in the Zhytomyr region at 10:02 PM local time, followed by explosions in that area.
This marks the sixth alarm triggered by MiG-31K activity on March 30 alone. Earlier warnings were issued at the following times:
- 01:46
- 04:52
- 12:55
- 14:04
- 17:30
In response, the Ukrainian Air Force issued a statement:
“Attention! All of Ukraine faces a missile danger. A MiG-31K takeoff has been recorded.”
An Ongoing Threat from Russia
This situation underscores the persistent danger posed by Russia, which continues active military operations in the region. Such frequent air raid warnings highlight the high level of tension and the urgent need for Ukrainian forces to remain prepared for possible missile strikes. Given the current security environment in the country, these alerts are critical for protecting civilians and ensuring a swift response from military units.
