The explosion, which occurred on June 29, caused severe injuries to Yermolayev, his common-law wife Anna Nasobina, and their 13-year-old child.

Anna Nasobina suffered critical wounds in the blast, including the loss of limbs. She requires ongoing medical treatment, while the couple's son also needed hospitalization for his injuries. Initially, police treated the incident as a terrorist attack, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
