Milонов called to close bookmakers and send employees to war.
Call to close bookmakers
The notorious deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vitaly Milonov called to close all bookmakers in Russia and send their employees to fight against Ukraine.According to inkorr.com: In his opinion, such establishments only 'fleece citizens' of their money, depriving them of the opportunity to live happily. It is unknown whether the employees of these institutions were ready for such a radical shift in their purpose — from gambling to participating in war.
It is worth noting that Milonov has repeatedly demonstrated radical views regarding the situation in Ukraine, supporting the annexation of Crimea and opposing Ukraine's independence.
This call once again emphasizes the attitude of some Russian politicians towards the situation in Ukraine and raises questions about the role of gambling in society. At the same time, such rhetoric may provoke additional tension in Ukrainian-Russian relations and in society as a whole, as Milonov's proposals lead to new contradictions and misunderstandings.
