Minimum pensions - what amounts Ukrainians will receive in August.

In 2025, minimum pension payments in Ukraine were again increased due to the indexing conducted in March. The Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Ternopil region reported on the changes that will take place starting from August 1 this year.

Guaranteed payments for retirees

The amount of the pension is determined by several factors, including age, insurance experience, and registration as a working person. In 2025, the minimum amounts are:

• 3,758 UAH - for persons who are 80 years old or 65 years old without employment and a certain work experience.
• 3,613 UAH - for those who are 75 to 80 years old or from 70 to 80 years old and have a complete work experience.
• 3,323 UAH - for disabled persons of group I and retirees aged 70+ with a complete insurance experience.
• 3,038 UAH - minimum pension for all non-working retirees receiving a pension under the general system.

Minimum payments for working retirees

For officially employed retirees, the minimum pension amount of 2,361 UAH has been established, which corresponds to the subsistence minimum for persons with disabilities. Since the beginning of 2024, this amount remains unchanged, and no increase is expected in 2025 according to the state budget.

The government of Ukraine continues to support retirees by increasing minimum pension payments for both non-working and working retirees to ensure a minimum standard of living for this category of citizens.
