Defense ministers of European countries to hold emergency meeting on Ukraine.
The meeting of defense ministers of European countries in a video conference format will take place on Monday. The main topic of the meeting is support for Ukraine. According to Bloomberg, defense ministers from a dozen countries, as well as representatives of the European Union and NATO, will participate in the meeting.
As the United States may stop supporting Ukraine, European leaders are actively developing new defense plans. The United States has also begun peace negotiations that could affect security in Europe without the involvement of Europe and Ukraine.
This meeting coincides with the visit to Kyiv of several European leaders, including European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. On Monday, there will also be a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels.
French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will soon meet with U.S. President Donald Trump.
