The Ministry of Defense has started the decentralization of procurement: what will change for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to inkorr.com: Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and its structures, such as 'State Logistics Operator' and 'Defense Procurement Agency', gathered to discuss important issues related to defense procurement. One of the key topics was decentralization.
The round table was organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Public Union 'Reform Support Fund in Ukraine'. Also among the participants were representatives of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 'Defense Procurement Reform Project'.
For his part, the head of the Logistics Operator Andrii Sozansky informed about the organizational structure and key achievements of the enterprise.
During the discussion, they also raised the issue of increasing the procurement capacity of military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of the 'Project 100' program, which started in April 2024 with the support of the Public Union 'Reform Support Fund in Ukraine' and the government of the United Kingdom.
Discussing the topic of defense procurement in Ukraine is an important step towards improving the procurement system for the country's Armed Forces. It underscores the government's efforts to increase efficiency and transparency in the field of defense procurement, which is critically important for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
