In the past week, 1,282 individuals have contacted the recruitment centers of the Ukrainian army, for a total of 35,337 citizens, of which 7.8 thousand became candidates for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
'The main advantage of joining the defense of Ukraine through recruitment centers is the opportunity to choose a specialty based on the candidate's wishes and abilities. In addition, the future defender will receive an expanded package of benefits and social guarantees,' said Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Melnyk.
Currently, there are 47 recruitment centers operating, offering more than 10 thousand vacancies in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine.
The 'Dii' application provides an opportunity to join the Army of Drones. After submitting an application, a person gets into the chosen unit, and basic military training is conducted based on an already signed contract. Fitness for service is also confirmed at the application stage, so passing the VLK is not necessary.
The 'Reserve+' application also offers a recruitment service that helps Ukrainians find the optimal vacancy in the military.
