The Ministry of Defense signed contracts with Ukrainian manufacturers for UAH 5 billion

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine signed two contracts with Ukrainian manufacturers for a total amount of almost UAH 5 billion. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense, emphasizing the importance of these agreements for strengthening the country's defense capability.

The agreements were made during a working trip of President Volodymyr Zelensky and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. The signing took place between the Defense Procurement Agency and enterprises of the domestic defense-industrial complex.

«This is extremely important for strengthening the defense capability of our state. After all, we buy and support our own, contributing to the development of our economy and industry. Thank you to the President for support in these matters,» Umerov noted.

The President and Defense Minister also visited defense industry enterprises to familiarize themselves with their work and demonstrate their support to Ukrainian manufacturers. Zelensky emphasized the continuation of investments in Ukrainian production and the increase in production volumes as a key priority.

This working trip took place as part of a coordination meeting on the security situation and the protection of the state border, which Zelensky held in the Volyn region.
