Ministry of Defense introduces new contracts: guaranteed service periods.
New contract terms for military personnel
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Defense has started working on new types of contracts for military personnel and changes in legislation in this area. One of the main innovations will be the provision of guaranteed service periods, as reported by the ministry.
- fixed service period from 1 year to over 5;
- deferment from mobilization for 1 year;
- additional rewards and bonuses for participation in combat operations;
- the possibility to choose a military unit and position.
Defense Minister Denis Shmyhal noted: 'New contracts are about fairness and predictability, responding to the requests of military personnel, their families, and society. We express our gratitude to the defenders who fight for the future of Ukraine.'
After the legislative changes are adopted, new contracts will be available to everyone who wishes to join the army, including both current service members and new recruits.
Thus, the introduction of new types of contracts for military personnel will provide guaranteed service periods and additional benefits. This step is important for creating fair conditions for the defenders of the country and aims to strengthen Ukraine's defense capability.
The introduction of new contracts meets the modern needs of military personnel and their families, providing clear terms of service. This can positively affect motivation and readiness for service, which are important components for Ukraine's national security.
