The Ministry of Defense launched the weapon marketplace DOT-Chain Defence: how it will change supply.
According to inkorr.com: A new tool for the Ukrainian defense industry has emerged - the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace, which opens new opportunities for manufacturers, as reported by the Ministry of Defense.
Operation of DOT-Chain Defence for weapon manufacturers
After signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense, companies gain access to a special online portal. On this platform, manufacturers can add their products, specify prices, quantities, and delivery times, manage orders, control inventories, and coordinate delivery with the military. The armed forces can timely select the necessary goods and submit requests online.
Everything happens clearly, quickly, and securely, with legal and financial support from the Ministry of Defense
The Ministry of Defense is actively transitioning to a modern digital procurement model for defense needs, allowing each hryvnia from the state budget to work more efficiently and enabling the military to receive necessary equipment in the shortest time possible.
Thanks to the new marketplace, weapon manufacturers and military units have gained an additional tool for cooperation and effective management in the field of defense production.
This step by the Ministry of Defense not only facilitates the modernization of defense procurement but also the creation of a transparent market where every participant can maximize their capabilities. DOT-Chain Defence will be an important milestone in the development of modern approaches to meeting military needs.
