Mobilized soldiers do not receive preferential mortgage under the еOselya program: what is the reason.
According to inkorr.com: Mobilized military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine currently do not have the opportunity to take advantage of the preferential mortgage under the 'еOselya' program with a 3% rate. This restriction does not apply to representatives of other law enforcement agencies, notably the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service.
According to the state company 'Ukrfinzhytlo', mobilized military personnel are not considered contract servicemen of the Armed Forces, therefore they were denied the right to receive a preferential loan under this program. In contrast, representatives of other military formations, such as the Security Service, HUR of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, and border guards, can benefit from this privilege.
Plans to expand the program
'Ukrfinzhytlo' is considering the possibility of expanding the conditions of the program to provide access to a preferential mortgage at 3% for mobilized servicemen of the Armed Forces serving under mobilization.
Moreover, it is worth noting that Privatbank has launched a new initiative to support Ukrainians.
The inability for mobilized military personnel to take advantage of the preferential mortgage has become a serious problem that requires urgent resolution. Expanding the program could significantly improve housing conditions and support military personnel during this difficult time. Initiatives from financial institutions, such as Privatbank, may also become an important step in supporting citizens facing difficulties during the war.
