According to ТСН: On Friday, a young man staged a shocking incident by stripping in front of Emperor Naruhito of Japan and his family, who were greeting the public for the New Year.

According to Japanese media, during the Emperor's New Year address from the balcony of the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, a man sitting in the front row suddenly took off his clothes and jumped naked over the barrier.

He was immediately apprehended by Imperial Guard officials and Tokyo police, who covered him with a blanket.

This incident occurred after members of the imperial family, including the Emperor and Empress Masako, appeared on the balcony.

In his New Year address, the Emperor expressed his desire for peace for all who have suffered from natural disasters.

According to TBS, the young man had previously announced on social media his intention to appear naked during the Emperor's New Year greeting. He also claimed to have urinated in the Imperial Palace 'for peace in the world after receiving a divine revelation.'

The imperial family, which is said to have roots that go back 2600 years, officially renounced its divine right to rule after Japan's surrender at the end of World War II, thus does not possess real political power.

Despite this, the imperial house remains an important symbol of Japan, and members of the imperial family are respected by society.

Finally, it is worth noting that last year Japan first had a woman in the position of Prime Minister - Sanae Takaichi. These events underscore changes in Japanese society and traditions, reflecting modern challenges and the aspirations of the people.
