The Ministry of Education has lifted restrictions on distance education for children abroad: what has changed.
Cancellation of restrictions on distance education for children abroad
According to inkorr.com: In July 2025, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine revoked Order No. 1112 and some provisions of Order No. 1115, which limited the possibilities of distance learning for children abroad. The changes have already been registered with the Ministry of Justice and officially published on the NUS website.
Previously, Ukrainian children outside the country were required to study according to a simplified program, which only included subjects with a focus on Ukrainian studies. Now they have access to a full school program. This decision was made to ease the burden of studying at two schools simultaneously and support Ukrainian children in preparing for important exams.
Issues of distance education
The cancellation of restrictions on distance learning has become part of measures aimed at improving the educational system under conflict conditions. The new government intends to expand opportunities for offline learning and ensure the safety of students. However, there are issues related to distance education that need to be addressed in the near future.
Poland has canceled two subjects in schools.
Thus, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has lifted restrictions on distance education for Ukrainian children abroad, allowing them to study according to the full school program. This decision facilitates the learning process and supports children in preparing for exams, and is also an important step in improving education under conflict conditions.
