Father of Lamin Jamal Outraged by His Son's Absence Among Ballon d'Or Nominees
According to The Sun: The father of footballer Lamin Jamal, Munir Nasraui, shared his outrage that his son did not make it to the list of Ballon d'Or nominees.
The 18-year-old player demonstrated impressive play, scoring 18 goals and making 16 assists last season, which undoubtedly increased his chances of receiving the prestigious award.

However, the award went to his teammate, Ousmane Dembélé, who celebrated success in three tournaments, including the Champions League. Jamal finished in second place, which caused outrage from his father Munir Nasraui.
“He is the best. I won't say it's theft, but it's moral damage for the person. Lamin Jamal is undoubtedly the best player in the world.”
Nasraui denied that the situation was caused by prejudice, emphasizing that his son will undoubtedly succeed in the next contest.
“This is not only because he is my son, but because he is the best player in the world. Lamin is Lamin... we must acknowledge that something strange happened here.”
