Usyk may have his last fight against 20-year-old prospect Ituma: what the coach says.
Future fight of Ituma with Usyk
According to The Sun: Coach of Moses Ituma, Ben Davidson, is ready to offer the British talent a title fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
Usyk, a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion, has noted that there is only one fight left in his legendary career.
GettyAfter victories over Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and twice over Daniel Dubois, the Ukrainian boxer is facing the challenge of new opponents.
Ituma is only 20 years old and has 13 fights under his belt, many already consider him a serious threat to Usyk's dominance.
The coach confirmed:
“I would do it. It's a winning option. Moses hasn’t boxed anyone like Usyk yet, but Usyk hasn’t boxed anyone like Moses either. He probably recognizes that himself. It's something he is ready for. I think he has the mindset: if you're going to dive, well, dive deep. I hope we can get into a title fight.”
In August, Ituma knocked out Dillian Whyte in one minute, but at this moment his biggest challenge is finding opponents willing to risk their records.
Among potential opponents, the resilient veterans Jermaine Franklin and Filip Hrgovic are being discussed.
Davidson noted:
“These are the two everyone is talking about. They are not interested, like most others, so it’s difficult. It’s hard to find opponents at the moment. They don’t want to box with him. They are asking for too much money to box with him.”
Usyk was planning a fight with Joseph Parker, who is now preparing for a matchup with Fabio Wardley on October 25 at the O2 Arena. Our boxing star has attracted the interest of the WBO, as a video surfaced online showing Usyk dancing despite withdrawing from the fight due to injury.

In light of this news, it is clear that Usyk still remains at the top of world boxing. His quest for new opponents, such as Ituma, signifies a desire to maintain a high level of competition and not settle for his achievements. The interest in title fights leaves the Ukrainian boxer the opportunity to prove his strength in the ring once again, despite the lack of obvious challenges. Read also
