Sofia Rotaru's Moscow apartment has changed owners: who is the new master.
Sofia Rotaru transferred her apartment in Moscow to her son
Ukrainian singer Sofia Rotaru transferred her apartment on Zoological Street in Moscow to her son Ruslan Yevdokimenko. This information was made public by the Russian Telegram channel Mash.
It should be noted that the former mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov, gifted this apartment to the singer, but for a long time she was unable to sell it. Attempts to reduce the price and provide mortgage credit did not yield results, as she could not find buyers.
Therefore, Sofia Rotaru decided to transfer the ownership of the apartment to her son, who will take care of its sale.
It is worth mentioning that Sofia Rotaru does not publicly disclose her position on the war in Ukraine, but on her Instagram she often expresses support for Ukraine. She is currently abroad, likely in Italy.
In October, the singer honored the memory of her late husband, musician Anatoly Yevdokimenko. She published a photo on her Instagram page near his grave with the caption 'The only one.'
Sofia Rotaru's sister and her family remain in Ukraine.
