Kateryna Tyshkevych on the Night Shelling of Kyiv: The Explosions Were Powerful and So Close.
According to ТСН: Ukrainian actress Kateryna Tyshkevych shared her feelings during the horrific shelling of Kyiv.
On the night of January 9, the capital was attacked by Russian occupiers, who shelled the city with kamikaze drones and various types of missiles. Unfortunately, direct hits could not be avoided.
Unpredictable Night
Kateryna Tyshkevych notes that the night was extremely alarming. She heard powerful explosions that occurred nearby, saw the glow in the sky, heard car alarms, and the windows in her house were rattling.
In Search of Safety
As there was no shelter nearby, the actress and her husband, actor Valentyn Tomusiak, sought refuge on the first floor of their building.
'The explosions were so powerful, constant, and so close. The glow in the sky, car alarms, the rattling of windows. We have no shelter nearby, so we just went down to the first floor for at least some measure of safety...'
It is also worth noting that earlier, singer Sofia Rotaru reacted to the horrific shelling of Kyiv, showing the aftermath of the occupiers' criminal actions.
These events once again emphasize the threat posed by aggression and violence. Ukrainians who experience such night attacks demonstrate extraordinary resilience and courage in the fight for their lives and freedom. It is important to support each other during these difficult times, as only through joint efforts can we overcome the challenges posed by the enemy.
