Reviving a Favorite Drink for ROSÉ Fans

According to The Sun: Rosé enthusiasts got their Christmas gift: the M&S chain has brought back its iconic festive drink after 10 years.

With the arrival of cold weather and long evenings, many of us dream of cozy nights by the fire, enjoying mulled wine and delicious chocolate treats.

M&S

If you prefer rosé to red wine, you might think that this spiced Christmas drink isn't for you.

But thanks to M&S, you can now enjoy your favorite drink in festive style — M&S is launching rosé mulled wine.

The price per bottle is just £6, and starting today, you can already find it in stores, allowing you to get into the Christmas spirit earlier.

M&S was the first supermarket to introduce this modern version of the festive drink 10 years ago, and now that rosé has become popular in the summer, they decided to bring it back.

This Christmas drink is expertly blended in Germany, the homeland of mulled wine, and features notes of citrus orange, vanilla, and traditional spices.

To enjoy the drink, simply heat it in a pot and serve with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.

This drink pairs perfectly with delicious festive dishes like meat pies or turkey sandwiches.

“We know that rosé is not just for summer, and that's why we declare that the rosé season officially lasts all year with the glorious return of our Rosé Mulled Wine,” said Maddie Love, product developer at M&S Food.

“I’ve always preferred lighter wines, and last Christmas our first market white mulled wine was such a hit that we thought: why not add a tasty pink twist?”

“It’s the perfect way to add warmth when autumn days start to get chilly – I love drinking it with a warm meat pie.”

Last year, M&S released a very popular white mulled wine, and the supermarket confirmed it will also return to stores in the coming weeks.

Additionally, a regular mulled wine and a non-alcoholic version of the drink are set to appear just in time for Christmas.

More Festive Drinks

If you want to kick off the festive season earlier, Asda has launched an Irish cream liqueur that people say is “better than Bailey’s.”

Meat pies, chocolate sets, and Christmas pudding — these are all delicious dishes associated with this time of year, but nothing creates the cozy atmosphere of the winter season like a glass of smooth cream liqueur.

Continuing the festive product theme, M&S has already confirmed the arrival of new chocolate products, spreads, and alcoholic beverages hitting the shelves since September 10.

This Irish cream liqueur is made with dairy cream, alcohol, and Irish whiskey, produced in small batches in the northwest of Ireland.

This drink is perfect for adding to coffee, using in recipes, or enjoying on its own as a Christmas delicacy.

If you’re looking for something more familiar, the cheapest price on Bailey’s is currently at Sainsbury’s, where Nectar cardholders can buy a 70cl bottle for £11.

Meanwhile, most other leading supermarkets in Britain offer this popular drink for no less than £17.

Thus, the return of rosé mulled wine and other festive drinks in M&S's range makes the festive season even more appealing for fans of various flavors. Mulled wine lovers can celebrate Christmas in new colors and taste variations, while other supermarkets actively offer their alternatives, highlighting the competitive atmosphere in the festive drinks market.
