Path to Success
Devante is a product of Manchester City's academy, where he played from 2003 to 2015. During this time, he made a name for himself with ten clubs, scoring 95 goals in 386 matches.
In 2015, he nearly transferred to West Ham, but subsequently couldn't establish himself in the team.
Now, at 30, he plays for Port Vale, having joined on a free transfer from West Bromwich on deadline day. At his new club, he has already scored in three consecutive League One matches, despite previous season struggles.
Devante wants to showcase everything he learned from his father, as Andy became one of the best strikers in Premier League history.
Impressive Stats of the Father
Andy Cole became a legend, scoring 68 goals for Newcastle before moving to Manchester United, where under Sir Alex Ferguson, he recorded 121 goals in 275 appearances.
He won five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and one Champions League, including the famous treble in 1999.
Devante, criticizing Manchester City for inadequate support for English talent, believes in his potential at any level, as shown by his words:
“I believe I can score goals at any level I play. I always feel I can score.”id='6379923306112' data-video-id='6379923306112' data-account='5067014667001' data-player='default' data-usage='cms:WordPress:6.5.6:2.8.6:javascript' data-embed='default' class='video-js' data-application-id='' controls style='width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; right: 0; left: 0;'> Devante Cole has great potential to repeat his father's success as he confidently continues towards his goal at Port Vale. The match against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup will be an important test not only for him but also an opportunity to showcase his talent on the big stage. Devante's career dynamics show that despite challenges, he is ready to fight for his place in football.
