An unusual natural anomaly was discovered in the Dnipro-Oril Nature Reserve - a small herd of Japanese deer. This rare breed was brought to Ukraine back in the 19th century, and after some of the animals escaped into the wild, they successfully adapted to local conditions. Representatives of this breed are very cautious and active in the dark. At the same Time, they are quite skittish.
Scientists' interest in a whale during a research mission in Antarctica
During a marine expedition, scientists in Antarctica witnessed an interesting event - a humpback whale swam closer to their boat. The whale displayed activity, swimming under and around the boat for nearly 15 minutes. It even exhibited bold behavior, flipping on its back and slapping its pectoral fins. Such observations by scientists were rare and unusual.
Mass stranding of whales in Tasmania
The shores of Tasmania, located on the northwestern coast of Australia, have come into the spotlight due to a mass stranding of whales near the Arthur River. Notably, this is the first case of mass stranding of these animals in many decades. According to officials, out of 157 whales that stranded, 90 were successfully rescued. This event is unique and unusual for the area.
