According to Novyny.live: A domestic argument in the Kharkiv region took a violent turn, leaving one man severely injured and a suspect in custody. The incident occurred on May 28 in the village of Starovirivka, Berestyn district, where a 36-year-old man stabbed his 55-year-old neighbor in the abdomen during a quarrel. The victim was hospitalized with a penetrating wound to the stomach, which posed a serious threat to his life.
Law enforcement responded swiftly, detaining the 36-year-old suspect under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He was notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine—intentional grievous bodily harm. This charge carries a penalty of five to eight years in prison.
