Ukrainian military repelled an attack by Russian invaders in the Kharkiv direction
On August 13, 2024, at 6 am, units of the 13th National Guard Brigade of Ukraine «Khartia» and the 92nd Brigade successfully repelled a powerful attack by Russian invaders in the Kharkiv direction. The enemy attempted to carry out assault actions on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the direction of Pylyne-Lyptsi and Pylyne-Hlyboke.
The enemy's attack consisted of two columns of 6 tanks each, equipped with enhanced protection against FPV drones. Each tank carried a landing party of 8-10 infantrymen. The first column moved directly to the positions of «Khartia».
Thanks to the timely detection of the threat and coordinated actions, the brigade fighters stopped the enemy before they reached the front line of defense. Ukrainian warriors inflicted powerful fire damage by all available means, resulting in the destruction of 4 enemy tanks and the damage of another. Among the invaders, 10 were killed and about 30 were wounded.
Operators of «Khartia» FPV drones played a significant role in repelling the attack. The fighters expressed gratitude to everyone who contributes to the fundraisers for drones and related equipment, particularly to the current fundraiser for 40 million hryvnias.
The second column of 6 tanks attacked in the direction of Hlyboke where it was met by units of the 92nd Army Brigade.
Units of the 13th National Guard Brigade «Khartia» continue to gradually push the enemy back in the Kharkiv direction, advancing towards the northern borders of Ukraine.
