According to Novyny.live: Severe weather conditions have caused power outages in 11 settlements within the Kirovohrad region, with two more experiencing partial disruptions. The adverse weather has significantly hampered the efforts of energy service crews. Concurrently, road clearance operations are underway, utilizing 118 units of specialized equipment.
Andrii Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, stated that the power supply situation remains under control.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened a special meeting on the power supply issue, highlighting the national-level importance of resolving this crisis. This region in central Ukraine has faced repeated infrastructure challenges due to the ongoing conflict and seasonal weather extremes.
Energy services are currently working to restore electricity to the affected areas and to ensure road safety and accessibility. Authorities are urging residents to exercise caution due to the weather conditions and to follow official safety recommendations.
