June 29 Missile Strike in Dnipro Kills Five, Including Construction Workers.
Aftermath of the Russian Attack on Dnipro
According to Novyny.live: On June 29, a Russian missile strike hit the city of Dnipro, killing five civilians and wounding ten others. The attack caused extensive damage to a factory that produces plastic containers. Among those killed were a female line operator and a male production worker. Three construction workers who were repairing the roof of the workshop also lost their lives.
Victims had no time to reach shelter because the Iskander missile traveled at extremely high speed. Nearby vehicles parked next to the facility were also damaged. Hospitals continue to treat the injured, many suffering from severe shrapnel wounds and broken bones. Just last week, Dnipro came under another attack that heavily damaged dozens of cultural, sports, and educational buildings.
This latest assault once again highlights the serious threat civilians face amid the ongoing conflict.
Such strikes on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine reflect the continued aggressive policies of the Russian Federation and endanger the lives of ordinary people. Security remains a critical concern, especially in regions that have recently experienced shelling. Local authorities and aid organizations continue to support victims and work on rebuilding destroyed facilities.
